This was such a cold day but these ladies soldiered on and braved the chill to get their shots! It was awesome to get so many different things in this shoot as we moved around town for different segments!
Fredericton Photographer
Free Family Session?
Your child is graduating and things might look a little different at home next year! This is a great time to get an updated family photo while you have a photographer for the day. I don’t book anyone else on the day of your grad session so I’m all yours! Gather everyone and we can meet up for a few minutes and get some beautiful family portraits before getting back to the main event, your grad! We usually spend 15-20 minutes with the family and then those that need to be on their way are free to go. This is a complimentary service I offer to all my grads’ families.
It’s Your Senior Year!
Your graduation year is special! I love to capture your hobbies, interests and personality. There’s so much more to being a highschool senior than the traditional cap & gown. Em got her motorcycle license and I was excited to fire up some smoke bombs in her school colours and get some different images after we hit Odell and some downtown locations. We got some cap & gown too but this was my favourite part of the day we had together!
Headshots Anyone?
Does your current headshot still accurately represent you? Does you LinkedIn need a photo? Make sure your online profiles show the real you. I know not everyone loves being in front of the camera but I can help you get a new/updated headshot practically painlessly! Headshot packages include 2 poses with the option to add on more. Let’s talk!
My Triathlete
Our daughter decided to start triathlon training at the end of last summer. Since she’d never completed even one level of swimming lessons, we really weren’t sure how this was going to work. The coaches for TriNB and Fredericton Triathlon club said “don’t worry about it, we’ll get her ready in time” and they did not lie!
Here we are not even one year later and she is doing it! She has put in the work, showed up for early morning training at the pool and listened to her coaches. She is a beautiful swimmer and it was so much fun to watch her at the local club’s first event this season.
I can’t imagine doing all these things back to back (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) but they all did it and managed to smile and pose for me at different points during the race.
Here are a few images from the event and I can’t wait to see her compete more this summer and see her progress!
Life’s Good!
Liz & Glenn are planners and doers! She had a great list of wardrobe ideas and props lined up and had done some research on Pinterest to give me an idea what she was looking for before we even had the session. Glenn made sure he was relaxed and ready for the shoot by working off his pre-session jitters with some Playstation time.
Secret Baby Name (they’re playing this one close to the vest!) will be treasured and organized and I can’t wait to meet him in April!
Ballet Newbie
I had the opportunity to check out the well known to everyone except me, production of The Nutcracker! I know one of the dancers and her mom has desperately wanted to get some nice photos of her in action with the gorgeous costumes so I popped in to the dress rehearsal to get a few shots for Julie.
I know nothing about ballet but I know pretty when I see it! The set design, colours and costumes were a feast for this photographer’s eyes! I assume the dancing was superb as well, I wouldn’t know if there was a slip but I can definitely report that there were no crashes or falls.
I ended up getting more images than I know what to do with and will have to delete more than I care to (my hard drive is practically screaming at me every time I open the computer filepath!) but Julie is thrilled to have Miss H’s performance documented. That girl loves to dance and I loved watching her flow through the scenes in all her glory!
