Welcome to Moments by Kassie!

Kassie is a childhood nickname from my dad. I’m actually Kelly A Simpson (KAS). My love for photography stems from being on the other side of the camera so often for Dad while he practiced and learned new techniques as I was growing up.

I’ve learned a LOT since then and have been capturing moments and memories ever since. I continue to increase my skills and knowledge by annoying my own children with practice shoots, attending workshops each year and networking with other pro photographers.

I love working with families and creating images they can view and enjoy for years to come. Those “Kelly, look! we’ve got our wall display up!” emails make me smile. My other favourite thing to shoot is high school seniors. It is so much fun to watch them get into their shoots, from the phone consults, to the texting wardrobe planning discussions, location scouting and finally getting to see them after coming from hair and makeup, ready to model and have a great time!
